Applying

How you apply for a place at a higher education provider (provider) depends on whether or not the course and provider are affiliated with one of the five Tertiary Admission Centres (TACs).

  • For courses administered by a TAC, applicants apply to a provider or course through the appropriate TAC
  • For all other higher education courses, applicants are invited to apply directly to the provider.
If you are offered a place by an eligible provider you may need to apply for Higher Education Loan (HELP) assistance or for scholarships, if you are eligible.

NOTE: If a course is offered through a states TAC guide, it is not permissible to lodge another application directly with the provider.
